Some of the players could be out due to vacation therefore not having the teams playing up to par!

Why are basketball games scheduled during Christmas holidays?

Why are football playoff games scheduled on Thanksgiving weekend?

But they aren't scheduled on Christmas Day! And football games are not scheduled on Thanksgiving Day but the Friday or Saturday afterward.

Those are actual holidays. Spring break is just time out of school.

Don't forget Sinton's spring break is a week behind everyone else and that would mean a two week hiatus! Plus it would take three weeks to recover from being off for one week!

Phil C, i was for sure that sitting and watching a softball game was your type of spring vacation anyway. if there were no games youd just be spending all your time here on the DownLow:D

not enough hours in day, days in week, weeks in month, etc, etc to get all the games in unless done over holiday/spring break time.
Sinton has a point though (i think he was making point and not joke. Can't always tell with those south tx people).
If games not played over spring break, it would take a week or more to get kids back to thinking about baseball/softball after week of spring breaking.
