. . . about Congress getting involved w/ all this steriod and substance abuse crap in the Bigs. Personally, I think it's just all those egos in Washington couldn't stand that some people were getting more attention than them . . . jmo though.

i think it takes congress doing what they did and putting those star athletes on the stand forcing them to answer questions that they would normally pound into right field to show them and the baseball community that there is a problem.
I don't have a problem with congress getting invloved

I'm fine with it. It had to be done and the Players' Union wasn't about to let MLB do it. They're without a doubt the strongest union on the planet, so it literally took an act of Congress to bring them down.

now if we can only have this done for football....lol i saw the interviews on C-Span and am happy that congress is getting involved....if we put our foot down now, we cannot be accused of condoning this behavior in the future.
