For a player its the rewards and failures! You can go 3 for 3 one night and go 0 for 5 the next night. Baseball teaches humbleness! But nothing feels better than the crack of bat and rounding 1st with a clean a single!

I rarely eat sunflower seeds & never hot dogs at the games. Gum is given at little league games for fouls. Perfect game.....what's that? ;) I had to go with home runs, since those are few and far between for my kids.

with baseball it's the whole package. but when it gets down to it, there are 2 things that i love about it more than anything else.
1. no time limit or ties
2. having a bonding experience with my dad growing up. there were several times my dad and i went to an Astros game just the 2 of us and those memories will remain with me the rest of my life.

I loved playing baseball as a kid and playing in High School. I also have great memories of my parents taking me and my brothers to watch the Astros, but the best thing I have ever experienced about baseball happened last Saturday. It was my sons very first T-Ball game. I was coaching first base and when he hit the ball and was safe at first he was so excited. I will never forget that feeling of watching my son. I think all dads and moms will agree. That's what baseball is all about.

My favorite part would have to be going to a game and not having to worry about keeping stats!:hairpunk: lol Just being there with friends and/or family is AWESOME! My mom thought I was crazy when looking at colleges---i had to go inspect the baseball field and meet the coach before I'd tell her if I liked it or not...:D

One great thing about baseball is the ballparks.
Football, basketball, even track have the same dimensions to every field.
Baseball is the only sport where the field of play can differ from ballpark to ballpark.
Wide or short foul line areas, short porch to right or left, cavernous alleys in the gaps to left/right center, monster walls, etc.......

I voted for hot dogs, but probably my favorite part of baseball is when there is a close play at the plate. That is so exciting.

I was at a Ranger game early last year when they scored the go ahead run versus the A's late in the game. Awesome experience!
