In 30AAA Goliad beat Sinton 2 to 1 in 9 innings. Both teams are even. Sinton actually outplayed Goliad but left too many at third base which could have won the game. Both teams are so even. Sinton still gets another shot at them in Goliad but AP comes up Thursday.

The Sinton Boys beat Goliad 1 to 0.

Orangefield 10 Hamshire-Fannett 0 Megan McGill went the route for OF now 2-1 in District.
Bridge City 15 Hardin-Jefferson 0(four innings) 16 hits in 4 innings, no H-J walks & no BC errors. H-J is now 1-2 in District.

Looks like BC playing the best 5As in Louisiana and the best 5As and 4As in TX within driving distance is starting to pay off.

The Sinton Boys beat Goliad 1 to 0. Tough loss for the Ladies. :( They had chances to put the game away and just couldn't get the hits they needed. :crying: Hopefully, they can get back on track for the game against AP on Thursday.

AP - you have any news?

I was hoping that Channel 6 in Corpus Christi would have the Aransas Pass vs Ingleside score but no such luck. I did find out that Mathis and West Oso had byes so they played tonight and West Oso won 15 to 5. The Lady Bears are a much improved team this year.

Bellville 4
Sealy 3

Bellville led 4-1 in the last inning, before quite a chaotic inning. Allowed 2 runs, before finally closing it out. Bellville goes to 2-0 in district play.

Well, it was a so-so day for AP Baseball!

Our varsity girls defeated Ingleside 13-5, but our boys lost 9-2 (way to many errors). We have a tremendous amount of individual talent, just need to pull it together as a team, but the clock is ticking.;)

There were some close calls at the home plate that went Goliad's way in their 2 - 1 run against Sinton. One of them involved a pitch when the Goliad runner tried to bunt and ran right in front of the ball and got hit and he let her go to first and this turned out to be the set up for the winning run. I have seen times when batters weren't allowed to go on base because the umpire thought she didn't make a reasonable effort to get out of the way but have never seen one where the batter looked like she ran right in front of the ball and got to first base. He may have been right but I hope we don't get that umpire behind the plate again on any more critical games.
