I know its only the NIT, but A&M survives a close call at DePaul and wins 75-72. They will face the winner of Holy cross and Buffalo/St. Joes. Billy Gillispie just told the radio that he has already placed a call to try and get the game in College Station. I hope it happens, I had to miss the first game there. Good Job Aggies!!!

Wonder if the Horns might could have won at least one game if they had gone to the NIT. The Aggies are still playing and being seen by kids in other parts of the country. Sure helps recruiting when you win any post season games.

Another great win for the Aggies. If the game is in College Station, CHS_CG and I will be there.

Gig 'em, Aggies!

well for starters, lets do some comparison here. Winning the NIT vs. a winless record in big 12 play last season. am i missing something, because to me this seems like quite an accomplishment. i guarantee a&m is better than at least a few of the teams in the tourney. so 66th could be more like 50 or 60th.:D :D

I do recall the Horns winning some NIT games under Abe Lemons and everyone was real proud...... let the Ags be the same!

I prefer that it would indicate that the NCAA goofed in not including them in the final 64 teams.

And for the record, I have been pulling for all the Texas teams, both mens and womens, in the NCAA Tourney as well. Yes, even the Longhorns....  :cheerl:
