Well its that time of year for some BasketBall and Barbers Hill will be hosting the Gulf Coast Classic December 29 thru the 31st. If anyone wants to see some action There will be 14 teams competing the ones from 3A will be Barbers Hill, Anahuac, Cold Springs, Huffman, Orangfield, #11 Barbers Hill and #1 in the state Kountze the others are 4A teams. Its a long Tournament but I hope BH gets a chance at Kountz In the final the Eagles are playing good ball and sport a record of 11-1 there only lose coming to 4A Vidor. The Eagles have beaten some good teams this year like Jasper and 4A LaMarqe Good luck

.....and just for philc, there is a boys bracket and a girls bracket, with a lot of girls teams from the houston area competing. this has always been a tournamnet that showcases the talented girls in the area. teams such as elsik, hastings, north shore, memorial, and countless others have participated in prior years. a lot of excitement packed into three days!!!!!
