Dunno, but on the radio today, Jim Rome was harpin' on bowling pretty bad...

HE found an article about 'scented' bowling balls... Grape, Lemonade, Liquorish and the list goes on...

He said it doesn't matter if your balls are scented or not (not those balls, pervs), the place is still gunna smell like nachos, beer, body oder, 25 year old shoes with lysol sprayed on them and an ash tray...

No matter what you do to the balls, there still have been over 200,000,000 fingers in them over the last 10 years of their lives, and no telling what was on those fingers and is NOW in those three holes...

That's the exact reason I bought my own ball when I was in a league.

Most people incorrectly say 12, but 11 is the least amount of rolls. 9 strikes and 2 gutter balls or an open frame!

Thought I had it figured at 12, Bull's-eye, but 11 would be correct if you threw 9 strikes, guttered on the 1st ball of the 10th frame, and finished with a strike or count on the 2nd ball of the 10th frame. Good thinking.

i have a problem with this question. who would ever want to do this? anyone who could bowl 9, 10, 11 or 12 strikes in a row certainly would never bowl one in the gutter, let alone 2.

One way would be to throw 9 strikes and then open in the 10th (2 rolls without making the spare). This would probably be the more likely case. Most people answer 12, thinking of a perfect game. Just a trivia question that I read in the Chronicle.
