All I know it that Lubbock Cooper beat Perryton 6-0 in the chapionship game. Didn't sound like (reading from story on lubbockonline.com) that the Cooper pitcher was overpowering, 1 so and 1 bb, but must have had some really good fielding help. I don't know who Perryton pitched. They did say that Cooper's record is now 13-1. I believe that Perryton is now 13-4. Perryton has loses to Lubbock Estacado (also beat them once), Pampa, Frenship, and now Cooper.

that tourney was stacked! we(canyon) had a tough go of it, losing to lubbock christian 6-4, pampa 8-6, and cooper piled in on us 15-5. im not surprised at all that they beat perryton, because those cooper kids can flat out play. they hit the ball all over the park on us, and when we did fight back and pull close, they just pummeled us again. we did end up getting a win over A. Wylie, 12-5.
