It WAS un-natural. The first Christmas kids went straight outside after waking up and didn't look at their presents. spooky...

Job transfers happen...climbing that ladder sometimes means you have to endure a little misery...We are working on getting back...

That's why I have been turning down every job offer. I don't like those locations. I left once but got back here as soon as I could in 1985. I won't make that mistake again.

ONLY if the money's better! Then, it's got to be real good, at that!

(I'd still love to come back, though!)

Is there any of that down there? Or are you going to wait for retirement?

There are some companies in Texas. In fact, my company also has an operation in San Antonio. I'd rather be closer to east Texas. But, I could probably do SA. But, they aren't needing anyone with my job description there now.

I'm not necessarily waiting for retirement... just waiting for the right opportunity.

We left Texas for for better opportunity (promotion). We will end up back in Texas or Southern OK eventually (wish it was sooner than later) when the "right opportunity" comes up. We have something in the works right now....but it may take some time to pan out.
