I posted this in another thread, but wanted to make sure y'all were updated.

Calallen Tournament

Sinton vs. Marshall in the bottom of the 5th the score is tied 4-4. The game started at 9:30 a.m. and is on a 2 hour time limit. Will update w/ final.

next game today is vs. Warren at 12:30 p.m. at Oil Belt field

Friday schedule:

@ T-M vs. T-M - 9:30 a.m.
@ Cal vs. Cal - 2:30 p.m.

Looks like they are letting 'em play. The score going into the top of the 7th inning at 11:40 a.m. is 10-8 Sinton. The score was 10-6 in the bottom of the 6th before Marshall's DH hit a 2 run HR. Hope the Pirates can hold on to the "W".

:eek: close one :eek: The Pirates squeaked out a win this morning 11-10. I won't have any updates for the next game, sorry. :(

They're 4a. They played Boerne in football last year and lost to Ennis in the div. 1 state title game.

im almost sure that this is San Antonio Marshall (5a) from the Northside.

They split games today. Beat TM, lost to Calallen. They'll be playing tomorrow at 3pm for 3rd place. Not sure who they'll be playing though. Hopefully the Caller Times will have info in the morning.

On a side note the Lady Pirates defeated Yoakum this evening 4-1. It was a great win for the Lady Pirates. District play begins tuesday @ home against Ingleside. Come out and support the Lady Pirates. The Pirate baseball team does not have a game so you don't have an excuse not to make the girls game! :)

congratulations to the lady pirates. as for the baseball team, congratulations and good luck today. i love playing these premier teams. it really gives our pirates some great experience. its a great way to prepare for district play as well as the tough playoffs.
