Just got back from the Cuero vs St Paul BB game.. we lost in "overtime" 14-13 - what a back and forth game........ first time in 46 years I've seen a "sudden death" in baseball. Started out with a runner on 2nd and 1 out......... wish we'd of won, but we did show lots of heart........ hope we can mend some of our sprained ankles and other injuries over the spring break and come back strong on Friday

B/CS Eagle:
Caldwell won it's second tournament (first was Elgin) by defeating the Ore City Rebels 24-8 in the championship game of the Little River- Academy tournament. That puts the Hornets at 10-2(1-0). CF David Doonan was named tournament MVP. SS/P Justin Hollis and 2B Steve Alford were all-tournament.

Congrats to Barbers Hill on beating Hardin-Jefferson 10-9. The District down our way is quite competitive this year with Hamshire-Fannett, West Orange-Stark, Hardin-Jefferson and Bridge City. How is it shaping up in your opinion in that District with BH, H-H, Liberty, etc:?
