Crown Colony in Lufkin is a nice course and has been rated one of the top ten golf courses in Texas year in and year out.

It's expensive, $135.00 for 1 round of golf. Semi-private course.

Snyder has to be up there. Boys and Girls won state year before last. Girls were 3rd in state last year and won state in '97. Unfortunately, we lost the coach last year to Southlake Caroll, who by the way, won state last year with him.

Yoakum Girls are pretty dominant winning 8 Golf titles since 1984. They had stretch in the 90's where they won 5 state titles in a row. Correct me if I'm wrong .:)

You guys are doing a bang-up job on this golf thread. I've really got a kick out of reading some of your responses, as well as enjoyed your opinions. Maybe if we keep on going and growing, we can talk Jason into organizing a 3A Downlow golf tournament at some nice course one of these years.
