Does anyone know how the Sinton team did, or did they even compete this weekend?

Vra I think the competition still continues today and they don't announce the final results until this evening.

Actually, I think the awards banquet was supposed to start at 11:00 this morning. We should be hearing something soon.

Just got the call. Sinton's Decathelon team placed third in the State competition. The winner was Westwood. That's all the detaild I have at this time.

Congratulations are in order for these Sinton students. I know they wanted to win it all, but third outta the whole state ain't bad at all. Great job and way to represent! We're proud of all of you.

I had a niece that was on the first decathelon team in 1987 and they placed fifth place that year. Since then I think they have placed in the top five every year and have won three state championships several runner ups and several third place teams. In fact I think they have been in the top three except for maybe two or three times.
