anybody else??...I know my son would have have to, but when he took them last year (Senior now) his scores were high enough, that he is exempt from having to take it. He had Academic Recongniztion, but that's always been the case since he was in grade school. And the high school La Feria High school, La Feria, Tx,is an Exemplary Campus as all of the campuses except for Willaim B Green Middle School who was a Recognized campus.

Caldwell is taking it tomorrow... the senior class is being forced to take it even though they passed last year's test with flying colors... they had over 90% (I think it was 94% but I might be stretching that number) pass the TAAS test and the adm. wants to gauge the TAKS results with this class... needless to say the seniors are not happy...

Like they are really going to take the test serious...how do they think they can gauge the scores with results of a test that students do not HAVE to take to graduate...This sounds like it belongs on David Letterman's Top 10 Stupidiest List...just my opinion

Whatever it is he doesn't need to take it, the same one that he won't need to take it when he goes to college, is all I know. I confirmed it with his school counselor. You know when I was in High school back in the eighties, I know that we were the first to have to take these such test.
