Former Austin Sportscaster Hired @ ESPN

Former KEYE-TV 42 Sportscaster Robert Flores has been hired by ESPN in Bristol,Ct. Flores was fired from KEYE in August 2004 for accidentally murmuring an explict word while taping a Sports segment for the Morning show the following day. The segment was inadvertently shown the next morning,while drew the ire of some viewers.

Cara Capuano used to work for the NBC affiliate down in Corpus. You can usually see her on ESPNews but she makes an occasional appearance on SportsCenter. One of my buddies down there is in love with that girl. He's still good friends with her but, understandably, hates her fiancee' (at least last I heard they weren't married yet).

Play by Play guy Ron Franklin used to be the sportscaster for KPRC Channel 2 in Houston.
