Greenwood senior Jaymie Flowers was named District 3-3A's Defensive Most Valuable Player, and one of three Rangerettes who were selected to the all-District 3-3A first team.
Junior Loran Presley and senior Katie Howard also received first team honors, while junior Whitney Etheredge was selected to the 3-3A all-defensive team.
Seniors Kim Smith and Brandy Wheeler, as well as juniors Megan Morett and Megan Lopez, all were selected as honorable mentions. Greenwood also placed 11 girls on the academic all-district team (cumulative average of 90 or higher).
District champion Seminole boasted two superlative awards and six all-district selections. Maidens coach Dickie Faught was named Coach of the Year, while senior Kayla Johnson received Most Valuable Player honors. Monahans sophomore Jacquelyn Hopkins was Newcomer of the Year.
