Very sad to hear this. What I remember about him was that he was perhaps the first big name black punter in the NFL. Such powerfull leg strength and maybe the first two step punter to come along.

My opinion of Reggie Roby is extremely high. I feel that he was the League's 2nd best punter of all time just slightly behing the great Ray Guy. I hope that his peers will recognize his greatness and add him to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Rest in Peace Reggie, you were a great punter and a tremendous professional.

He was my favorite punter (because he played for my favorite team- the Dolphins).
