Baylor Men's Tennis won their 32nd straight team match in Chicago yesterday 4-1 against 9th seed Viginia to claim the USTA/ITA Indoor Men's National Championship!
Baylor Men's Tennis:
Big 12 Regular Season Champs: 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004
Big 12 Tourney Champs: 2002, 2003, 2004
NCAA Outdoor National Champs: 2004
USTA/ITA Indoor Champs: 2005
Hopefully I can add some more numbers to 3 of those columns at the end of this season....:) Sic'em Bears!

I hope Sinton 66 doesn't see it. He and some of the others say soccer is a communist sport! Man when he sees this list tennis will join it too! :D

i think tennis is only a communist sport in DI. i think most DII and DIII schools have local kids. but i guess local means from the US only

well...most of the tennis team people do either pay to go to school here r they r on scholarship...the people on the team do go to school here so they r just as much a part of the school as i am...not to mention i think about every D1 power in tennis except Illinois has a majority of international students on their team and Illinois who prided itself in not having any for so long has 3 on their roster this year....so i dont really see whats wrong w/ it....

Congrats to the Bears! Just for grins, I looked up the rosters for UT, TTU, A&M and Rice. All these schools have a number of international students playing tennis. A&M women's tennis was the exception at only one player from outside the United States.
