Killeen Teen Dies During Football Workout

KILLEEN, Texas (AP) -- A Central Texas high school football player has died after collapsing during an an off-season workout.
16 year old Ernest Alexander was pronounced dead Tuesday afternoon by Justice of the Peace Garland K. Potvin at Darnall Army Community Hospital on Fort Hood.
Potvin says Alexander was working out at Killeen High School when he told coaches he wasn't feeling well.
He says Alexander went outside and started having seizures.
Potvin has ordered an autopsy. No cause of death was immediately available.
