Cedric Benson sheds the dreads

Cedric Benson has cut his dreadlocks. With the upcoming draft coming up, the San Francisco 49ers have the 1st pick in the draft and are expected to go after a quarterback, this setups Miami, who is in need of a running back, to pick Benson with the 2nd pick in the draft. As we know, Miami is in need of a running back, because former running back Ricky Williams retired and left the Dolphins at the beginning of this past season. In order to avoid comparisions to Ricky, and show that he is his own man, and that he will not leave like Ricky, Ced has cut off his dreadlocks

I think it is great that Cedric cut his dreads off. He just doesn't want the speculations of the Cedric to Ricky to start now, and the dreads just gave another reason for them to be alike. Being compared to Ricky as far as a running back then that is good, but any other way is not what Cedric wants. Way to go, Cedric!!!!
