In girls basketball last night, the Sweetwater Lady Stangs cruised to a 65-34 victory over Monahans last night to advance to the area round. The Lady Stangs will play #1 ranked Canyon Friday at Lubbock Christian University @ 6:30, hopefully they will be able to pull of the upset

Good Luck to the Lady Stangs. Canyon has crushed them before if memory serves me right. I hope they can pull it off though.

Go Stangs. Canyon girls are always tough. Seems like they beat Sweetwater by 50 or 60 a few years ago when they were ranked number one in the nation.
