I can explain, a lot of the North Texas newspaper had the finaly score of Cuero 22 Altair Rice Consolidated 6... that's prolly what happened, Rice should be in the top 10...

GOBBLA, Couldn't agree more on Altair-Rice Cons. You would think that a team that returns 17 starters and who played last years state champ to a 3 point game would get a little more respect. I would rank them in the top 5.

I think they should be ranked where they are.. or maybe even lower until they prove that they are worthy of more then that

This poll sucks if you ask me.. Maybe when Carthage goes undefeated through district they will get a little respect from these guys. Thats ok we are ranked 10 in the Harris poll and 5 in the Sharp Poll they know a thing are two about East Texas Football.
