Check this out. I just found a video of the 9yr old kid who is being scouted by Manchester United. I had my doubts about this kid, but not anymore. Check out some of the shots he is making.

Notice that on some of the highlights the videos are dated 2001. That would make him either six or seven years old if the date's right.

A great idea 89. When he graduates from Jasper he could go to UT. UT could start a men's soccer team when he is a hs junior. When he goes to UT lots of great players would probably follow him there and UT would probably be a big power house in Men's soccer and possibly win a national championship or two. :)

Does anyone know what country he is from? The language doesn't appear to be Spanish.

Never mind - I just found out he is from Brazil where they speak Portuguese which explains the problem in understanding it.

Man I didn't see him use his head but if learns to use his head like a lot of soccer players he will even be greater which is frightening to the opposition because he apparantly has the ability.

I don't think England wants him to play now but maybe in the future. Of course it will cost them big bucks and the kid and his parents will probably be set for life. Of course soccer is big in Brazil and he will be pressured to stay there for the national and olympics teams. Either way he and his family should be wealthy.

We'll be finishing the paint job on the outside of our house in Lubbock next month. He said he's coming with us to watch it dry. :D
