Come on,they didn't ASK WR Freddie Mitchell. According to himself,he's the greatest receiver EVER!!!

A franchise tag is given to a player if a team doesnt want to lose him to free agency, Mcnabb, Owens and westbrook will not be free agents so thats why they arnt a Franchise player... and by the way, Corey Simon is a pro bowl caliber DT..

Westbrook is a restricted Free-agent. BUT, Chad Lewis, Jeremiah Trotter and Derrick Burgess are all unrestricted free agents. It will be interesting to see if they bring Lewis back after his injury and that younger T.E. stepping up.
