ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- The final agreement between Arlington and the Dallas Cowboys for a new retractable-roof stadium has been signed today.

The deal was signed by Arlington Mayor Robert Cluck, and team owner Jerry Jones and his son, Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones.

The 75,000 seat venue is expected to be built near the home of the Texas Rangers -- Ameriquest Field.

The plan approved yesterday by the Arlington City Council calls for two (M) million dollar annual rent payments by the Cowboys to the city -- for 30 years.

Arlington's cost will be limited to 325 (M) million dollars, or half of the stadium's cost -- whichever is less.

Arlington voters in November approved the stadium proposal and agreed to allow higher sales and car rental and hotel taxes to help pay for it.

The Cowboys have played at Texas Stadium in Irving since 1971.
