All of a sudden, there have been no attacks by pirates. Looks as though the Tsumami has either killed them or destroyed their ships.

In todays world, there are actual pirates who pillage, kidnap, and steal from vacationers. Many instances in the area where the Tsumani occured.

That would make them pirates, not pirates of the Carribean. Maybe pirates of Thiland, or pirates of Sri Lanka, but NOT the Carribean.

I love pirates and the stories. I have a nice collection of about 5 or 6 books on Pirates. I like the ones from the Caribbean mostly. Although Piracy was big off the South China Sea and as the orginator of this post meant, probably are still active or not now that the tital wave hit them.

Lots of good web sites on Pirate ships and treasures. I spend like two days just surfing through them.

when i read the first post after reading the title i started laughing. just sounded like something Will Ferral as Harry Carey would say.

There are no "Pirates of the Caribbean(or the Gulf)" cuz us Texans still carry. They don't want any part of us cuz we'll fire back.:D
