Barbers Hill's Girl's Golf Team is very outstanding this year as of there first tournament... we have three sophomores playing for there first year and beating a senior that has been playing for 3 some odd years..Laura Turbeville, Claire Wright, and Leslie Browder.. Golf is a very hard sport when you first start playing .. but these girls scores were .. i think .. very excellent for there first round of 18 holes. . Laura: 126, Claire 138, and Leslie 121
Coach Horn is also new to coaching this sport for the Barbers Hill Eagles and so far I think he has done an excellent job coaching the boys and the girls.. I can't wait until Monday watching them 3 girls at the baytown invitational at Goose Creek.. Have a good tournament girls and I'll be watching ya'll... Barfield needs to put pictures of the girls on the eteamz website.. Good Luck!

maybe im missing something, but those scores are horrible...cut 30-40 shots off each one and they might have a chance to compete for state...

you just wait.. that Laura Turbeville is going to take after her dad.. and she's going to rule the state! I know her first tournament score was terrible.. just wait.. she'll get a lot better

well good luck to her, womens golf is an easy way to get college paid for, especially at D2 schools....

dude...we need to play sometime. I have to work this weekend at a tournament but I will be done with basketball on Tuesday of this next week. then its GOLF, GOLF, eat, GOLF, GOLF, pay bills, maybe golf, maybe golf (if i can afford it after bills)

lol, alright, i dont know when ill be in dfw again though, prolly spring break....
