Seminole’s Hill gets Angelo State deal
Odessa American
SAN ANGELO Seminole’s Jeremy Hill was among 11 recruits to sign letters of intent Wednesday to play football for the Angelo State University Rams.
Hill, a running back, was one of two area players to commit to new ASU head coach Dale Carr, joining Permian’s Donavon Earl.
Hill rushed for 1,409 yards and 13 touchdowns on 247 carries in 2004 and shared District 3-3A Offensive MVP honors with Fort Stockton’s Wayne Jefferson.
He had 1,105 yards in the last five games as Seminole overcame a 1-5 start to earn a share of the 3-3A championship and the Indians’ first playoff berth since 1999.
That stretch included the Permian Basin’s top rushing performance of the season with 317 yards against Monahans.
