How is that going RangerMom. I know ya'll had to go to Stanton to run for a while. Are ya'll going to have to do that this year also?

our track was redone a while back... id venture to say that we have the nicest facility in 3A in the corpus christi area. We host district every year, and probably will for another couple of years.

Since my kids drive now, I don't pass the track as much as I used to....but the last I saw, it HAD been resurfaced. The lanes hadn't been striped yet, but that was a couple of weeks ago. I don't know what all has to be done to pass UIL regulations!

Since Wharton has won this region two years in a row, I'd say you better start there!

Snyder Will be good this year. Two Distance runners return both did well at Regionals. They should be good in the relays with two returning on the state qualifying 4X200 relay teams and Dee Walker as well as Castillo new to it and will help out. Mc Natt ( 4th in the state in 04 ) will be back throwing the discus and shot. It should be a great district battle between Wylie, Snyder, and Sweetwater..... Sound Familiar???

Is the Cooper kid going to be ready for Track this yr? And isn't he just a Jr???????

Vernon boys have all of their sprint relay team back. They were middle of the road last year at regionals. Should do better this year, but not sure they can get to state. They also have 3 of 4 back on the mile relay. Both relays did not make the finals last year, but should be improved this year.

We have some decent distance runners. One guy was third last year at regionals in the 800 runs a 2:00 time.

Lady Z motion jr. will be hitting the track for the Lady Lions for the first time. Probably in the 800, 1 and 2 mile races. She is a freshman but will run varsity.
