Started up at around 7:30 this morning....already have accumulations. It's not freezing, so it is pretty slushy. Roads are gonna be a nightmare tonight and early tomorrow!

I took pictures on my way into work and just realized I don't have anyway to load them on this computer!!:(

It isn't wise to eat white snow either because it could give you a sore throat.

I have no desire to eat snow anyway...yellow OR white!

RANGERMOM, please get rid of that stuff before Friday. I have a bass tournament Saturday and Sunday on Amistad by Del Rio. SNOW is NO GOOD AT ALL for fishing!!

It is snowing hard here right now.

It slacked off some and all that had accumulated melted off...now it's starting to stack up again.

It still hasn't got below freezing, so it is WET!

Before we worried about nuclear radiation particles in the snow, my Mom used to fix snow ice cream. When the snow started, she would dash out with some pots and pans so the snow would be "clean". After a few inches accumulated (this required a good snow like Cuero had Christmas), we would mix condensed milk and vanilla in until Hoorah! vanilla ice cream!!.

When we learned the snow might be radioactive, (esp. with strontium 90) that stopped!

When my step-son lived with me 20 years ago, thanks to the nuclear test ban treaties, when we had a good snow, I revived the practice. Great fun! Great flavor! and in Texas not enough snow to hurt the throat. At least no more that real ice cream hurts the throat.

It's drippy, cold rain here.
