no, i dont plan on using it on her. i would like for her to feel safer walking to class in the evenings. does walmart carry the stuff?

it doesnt have to be "pepper spray". just somehting similar that would render the perpetrator imobilized and would make him wish she shot him with a .44 magnum instead

Get one with at least 2 million schofield heat units. Don't go by the % of pepper. The heat units is what matters. I recommend Bodyguard brand. You can buy it online at Galls.com

wow, i would have never guessed there was a rating system. i figured pepper spray was pepper spray. thnaks for the info!!

I did a search under Pepper Spray and there are numerous sites that sell it online. Believe it or not, I tried to visit a few and they are violations to our company's policy .... weapons!
Guess they don't want me researching "how to go postal in the workplace":rolleyes:

I'm pretty sure Academy sells them. At least the ones in Austin do.

i have a 520 gram container of MK-IX MAGNUM MACE sitting right here. this bottle is huge!!! at first i thought it was a novelty item, then we sprayed it. the pepper spray you get your wife is anything like this, the assailant will shoot himself w. the .44!!!
