It is all but official. My sources tell me that Myers has been successful in getting Perrilloux to sign with LSU on signing day. Also Martellus Bennett is going to be signing with Texas A&M so no need to watch his announcement since I have taken the suspense out of it. Of course my sources must remain confidential as in the case with all good GodFathers. :)

But be of good cheer UT fans - there will be some good news later.

More news now. Today's Corpus Christi Caller has confirmed what I said in that Perrilloux was going to go to LSU and Bennett is going to Texas A&M. I didn't know but it looks like one of the nations top receivers Fred Rouse is going to Florida State. One silly rumor was that all three of them were going to the same school but of course I discounted that right away.

But be of good cheer Texas fans. I will have some encouraging news later.

Of course it looks like the GodFather was right on again as usual. :)

How could you have doubted. Of course the GodFather is right as usual. I actually knew it all along and that it was a waste of time for LSU or Texas to pursue him. They should have used their time on other recruits.

It is too big a dream injured but be encouraged. UT will not get rp but I will have encouraging news after signing day is over.

I just got informed that Ryan Perrilloux may not go to LSU after all but maybe Florida State and maybe even Texas A&M which is why Bennett signed there. None of this shocks the GodFather because the only thing that would shock me would be if he honored his verbal committment which as I have said before won't happen.

My sources have informed me that he is wavering. His first choice is still LSU and that is especially since his mother wants him close to home. But Mississippi State isn't that far away so he is thinking about them. The Aggies are still a distinct possibility. He will NOT honor his verbal contract with Texas so Texas is out of the picture. More on this so called saga later.

I'm being told that both Bennett and Perriloux have been friends for a quite a while now and that the only reason Perriloux gave UT a verbal was because that was the only place both him and Bennett could agree on. Apparently, they both want to wind up at the same place but Perriloux doesn't see himself in College Station. The Ags just got a big QB recruit last year in Stephen McGee... doesn't leave much room for Perriloux. The QB was still trying to sway Bennett at the last minute, though, according to rivals.com.

It is official! Perrilloux has signed with LSU to stay closer to home. As usual the GodFather was right on but I will have encouraging news for Longhorn fans later. I thought he might shock the world as he said he was going to do and sign with Mississippi State but once again I was right that he signed with LSU. The only thing that would have shocked the world or at least the GodFather is if he would have honored his verbal committment but his word was not good as the GodFather has already said.
