not really, it was pretty much expected by the folks in AP. I would guess that the community/school board didn't see enough improvement in our athletic programs and/or the way they were being run.

I wish only the best to Coach Soza...he is a very nice and dedicated family man. Maybe he will go to Beeville where his brother coaches? Let me know if you hear.

Just had the following e-mailed to me. I didn't see the news last night so this was news to me.

Good Morning from APISD News
*You may have seen the sports cast portion of the evening news on
Channel 6 last night, (Jan. 26) and heard the names of two finalists for
the position of APISD Athletic Director. That information is completely
false. The fact is that a short list of applicants is being developed at
this very moment. From that list, finalists will be determined and then
the finalists will be interviewed. The District is hopeful that the
process will be completed in time for the new AD to be announced at the
February 14 Board meeting.

how nice of them to schedule it for feb. 14th meeting. i guess with all the love in the room they figure noone will be upset

Actually, I will be glad when this process is over ... it does affect the kids and needs to be fixed asap! I am hoping whoever gets the job is a go-getter and truly an asset to the school district!

Goad from Sinton is in his first year here, since Jones left Sinton for Refugio if im not mistaken. He was the man behind the offense and was the OC... once again if im not mistaken.

Hmmm. What does Coach Goad look like? We had a Coach Goad until a year or so ago......there cannot be that many of them. :confused:
