The New York Times reported on its Web site late Friday night that Texas offered the left-handed slugger a four-year deal worth about $48 million. That's one year and $13-to-15 million more than the Mets and Marlins have offered, according to the report.
Lets hope he isnt another a-rod or chan ho

I agree with you about Chan-Ho, Keith, but A-Rod had a lot of game while he was here, and still does---now no doubt $25 mil/yr worth of game was too steep for the Rangers. I am not that fond of A-Rod---but the man can play baseball. Let's hope Delgado is a winner if they do sign him.
