It has been real quiet. Has the school board decided to open the job up or hire from within or hire coach liles? It seem like the new coach needs to be in place pretty soon so that he can begin assembling a staff and preside over the off-season.

I am not hearing a word...it is being kept very "hush hush"!

I did hear that they want someone in place by March 15th.

I have heard of a few who have applied, a couple within the system...and a few outside of it!

Hopefully they can find someone who will keep the tradition going that Coach Purser started. Has Coach Robinson from Bangs applied?.....I heard at one time that he would be interested in the Greenwood job if it ever came open! He has had some pretty salty teams at Bangs....they usually don't hit their stride until about midway throught the season....kind of like Coach Sandifer at Wylie.
