Welcome to the show...

So last night... San Francisco beat Gonzaga by 3 points... 73-70... GRRRRRRRRRRRR I just dont get how we can keep getting by with these losses in the conference.

All good things must come to an end. For the Ray High School boys basketball team that happened to be its district win streak this past Tuesday. Carroll snapped the Texans' district winning streak at 41 with a 53-52 District 28-5A victory at Ray High School. It was a streak that dated back to 1999. In this streak... they have made a trip or two to the Drum. Also During that time, they had a guard named Taurean Mitchell, who is now a starting guard at A&M-CC. Mitchell was an all district selection for 4 years, and the Texans became one of the most dominant teams in South Texas, putting themselves up there with the ranks of West Oso, Aransas Pass, TM, and Calallen as teams to beat in Corpus Area.

A&M-Corpus Christi's chances of getting into the NIT became very alot slimmer after last night. Behind the sharp shooting of Ronnie Price and David Heck, Utah Valley State College defeated the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's basketball team easily 96-73 Thursday night at the McKay Events Center. These 2 put down 50 points together to give the Islanders one of their worse losses this year. The 23-point loss was particularly painful with the Islanders talking about the possibility of a postseason berth. Out of 330 Division IA schools, Utah Valley State (8-9) was ranked No. 306 in the RPI.

What team in your area has a streak going like that of the CC Ray Texans?
