In Baseball Sinton Over Falfurrias

by a score of 8 to 3. The Sinton pitchers pitched great even thought they got into hot water a few times but great fielding and good pitching bailed them out. Andrew Garcia pitched the first five innings then Jason Adams pitched the last two innings. Overall a good positive game for the Pirates who defeated a good team that got into the playoffs last year and did well.

The offense is still not clicking on all cylinders. There were many more scoring chances that failed to produce the key hits. When the bats start coming around the Pirates will be very hard to beat. The timing is just not there yet, but its close.

Ditto--Good post vrabird! Base running was agressive last night, but got them in trouble! Matt Trujillo looked sharp at 3rd base!

Matt Trujillo has a very strong arm at 3rd. He made a strong throw to Chance at 2nd to start a double play,but threw the ball high and only got 1 out. Several other plays in the field were bobbled(Adrian at SS and Skrobarcek at 1st). Does anyone know how Omar G. is doing and when he is scheduled to be back? His fielding and pitching is being missed.
