I think that the Sweetwater girls are pretty salty this year but the boys may be struggling a little. I would take Wylie over Merkel. I think that this year Merkel is a little bit over rated.

haha...the Sweetwater girls are a THREAT...the boys....well theyve had alot who used to play quit this year i guess to better prepare for baseball and football, so boys sweetwater athletics are taking a break until baseball and TRACK....track is what i cant wait for....man is Sweetwater gonna be good!

If i remember the news earlier, the Wylie girls won.

wylie girls won pretty easily...they didn't play all that well in the 2nd half but had the game in control...

as for the boys game....it was pretty evenly matched...both teams had some good plays...it was a 3 pt. game with 27 seconds left and then we missed a shot and they got 2 free throws i believe...really good game....hopefully there will be a different outcome for wylie at home

the funny thing is that the merkel student section was calling the wylie student section white trash...or i do believe that is the point they were trying to prove...they were all saying this wearing cowboy boots, cut-off button up shirts, and wranglers
