At halftime it it Texas A&M 37 Texas 22. Texas is missing free throws and their shooting is bad and they are missing easy shots. A long night tonight for the Longhorns. No way they will pull this game out.

Russ, what happened to invitin ur Caldwell ppl to a game.. come on man lol! I wanted to go soo bad and coulda got tickets but mom decided not to get us tickets :( I watched it on tv so atleast I got to see it!

Seriously, congrats to A&M. I only got to see the 2nd half but from what I've heard, and read, we shot very poorly from the floor.

does everyone think the the ags are pretenders still? still not on the bandwagon, but I love some aggies. I hope they are and actually make it to the big dance, but in this conference there is some incredible competition. We shall see. Either way I have and still will route for them.

as an aggie i am very proud of our boys for this win tonight....they are a very young squad...as far as the "are they real" question, realistically, they have he depth and height to get it done, but i think one of the biggest challenges is the fact that you have 2 Seniors and one of them isn't a big time contributor...so they have a long road ahead..that negative stuff being said...its' a great thing to see that this happened tonight....We Got our first conference win in basketball since 2002-2003 season...and we did it by beat our rival.....whoop! I got to give the Aggies credit because they played great just as Texas played horrible. Texas did play much better the last fifteen minutes but it was too little and too late especially against the Aggies at College Station. But next time Texas gets the Aggies at home and hopefully will play good the whole game and not the last fifteen minutes. We'll get them in Austin!

You are right there AggieJohn. The one thing I was concerned about was that NBA scouts were at the game and you know how they are at getting players to enter the draft before they finish their college eligibility (and money does talk). They may go after your young players. I know that they got T.J. Ford to enter the draft before his time possibly costing UT the national championship. At least Carmel Anthony helped Syracuse win the national championship before he turned pro so unlike Ford he did finish the business for his college. The Aggies had a great player two or three years ago and would have been playing on this year's team as a junior or senior but he went in the draft. If he was there the Aggies would have been extra great because he was a good player. I am almost surprised that they didn't turn all those Aggies on those NBA scouts last night! In fact I almost wish they had! I would have yelled Gig Em Aggies. :)

I missed the game, but it sounds like the Ags came out on fire and Texas wasn't ready for them. Congrats to A&M on a big win. Looks like the Bix 12 is getting just as competitive in basketball as they are in football.:eek: :eek:

Last year and every year before that, I always rooted for the Aggies, but went ahead and got the cringing and sighing out of the way during conference play before I looked at the ESPN sportsticker after work. Maybe I can regain my hope when I turn on the ticker now. The games are almost never televised, so the only ones I have ever seen are the UT-ATM matchups every year. I bet it was an amazing site, all those fans cheering. WHOOOOOOOOPPPP!!!!
