I'm not that lucky, Setex, I have to IMAGINE I am at Hooters because if my wife thought I was there, I would be left to her imagination and that would turn into harsh reality in a hurry.

downtown on mesquite. its a real treat.

its about as authentic Italian as you will find. Marino Delzotto and his brother Gianni Delzotto are the owner and executive chef respectively. they use old family recipes from italy.

The best place on 6th would be The Iron Cactus, I'm guessing. 6th street is all bars and nightclubs as far as the eye can see. However, Hard Rock is now on 6th. It's been opened for a while.

There are a lot of nice restaurants--Kenichi's, Ruth's Cris, etc.--all around downtown. Downtown is starting to get that Dallas, Houston feel to it.

I agree about The Iron Cactus. My office is on 6th street, but I've only been there once, several years ago. $4.95 stacked chicken enchiladas at lunch - yum!

For lunch, farther west, you can't beat Hut's for a burger and fries or Frank & Angie's for pizza and salad.
