Maybe AggieJohn is asking why Barbers Hill isn't ranked on these polls...

But if it's not that, Barbers Hill is in between Houston and Beaumont just north of I-10 i believe...to the southwest is Baytown and La Porte and north is Dayton i believe...

canyon girls lost last night to undefeated Clovis, NM. (5A New mexico classification). this was the first game i saw in person that our girls lost. personally we aren't as stout as in years past, but 3A shouldnt be much of a challenge until possibly the semi's and finals.

navasota loses to a 5A team by a point 400 miles from home and gets dropped down 5 spots. oh, well. district is all that matters in the long run. i think i am starting to realize what everbody has been saying on 3Adownlow about how polls aren't to be taken seriously. the football playoffs kinda proved that.

BH is somewhat down this year. Orangefield beat them by 30 a few weeks ago.

Not this year Cat. They moved them out of our district this year and put Goliad with us.

Barbers Hill does not deserve to be high ranked in the polls...they are not doing as well as they usually do...

No offense girls.

Since the 2002 season when the BH girls lost in the regional finals to Kountze, there has been a large amount of adversity in the program. When the district hired the idiot Coach White, he alienated the girls who wanted to play volleyball. When they dispossed of White and hired Gober the damage had already been done. Coach is working with a team that is small in numbers size and offense.

Any of your girls teams broke the century mark in scoring this season? My Lady Bobcats scored 99 on Vidor and missed a last second shot to reach 100.

the lady rattlers of navasota are better than the rankings in booth polls, at 25-2 their wins were over teams like 4A brenham,5A tomboll, 4A #7 baycity at that time just to name a few, their losses came from a 5A tournament in Mc Allen,tx and they were i think the only 3A team there. they lost to seast acadmey by3 and they are ranked 4th in the nation & 5A beaumont westbrook by1. tommy gates has built a solid program in navasota and they are just getting started. ;) :D

99 Points that's great. How many did Vidor score?

5A tournament in Mc Allen,tx and they were i think the only 3A team there.

The Wimberly Lady Texans won the tournament, beating FEAST Academy by 5 in the Final. But to the Rattler Girls defense, they beat 5A's Los Fresnos by 43, Sharyland by 24, and 4A Corpus Christi King by 10 before falling to FEAST and that set of twins playing post. As I said in another post, way to go Wimberly. That is awesome for 3A teams to come out with #1 and #4 spots in a big 5A tourney.

From what I heard the Lady Stangs beat Snyder in OT wish I could have been there to see it, a few of my friends back in Sweetwater said it was a thriller
