Castleberry had 7 senior football players suspended today b/c at their ladylions volleyball game last night they painted their faces and stuff in a schools bathroom and got paint all over the place and after getting in trouble for it and cleaning it up they got suspended and will not be able to play in there last game b/c of it.
By the way we won the v-ball game.

That is a shame. Seems harsh to me, b/c there isn't a next year for them. I doubt they were deliberately destructive, xy chromosomes aren't generally known for their neatness. Seems they could give them some other punishment.

Sounds like the correct punishment to me. It gets the point across and sends a message to others that if you do something this stupid, you're gonna pay the price.

IMO, that's kinda harsh punishment for a bunch of boys trying to show team spirit.

I wonder what they do there if the kids get in real trouble?? Drugs, alcohol, etc???

im betting there is a little more to the story than that. A school wont suspend someone just for what has been explained...they wouldnt want to have to face the politics of it...im sure there was more to it!

Probably so.....the punishment doesn't fit the crime - the way the "crime" was explained.

Andrews, a West Texas 4-A team, lost 2 of it's starting players to drug charges this past week. I just don't understand what goes on these kids head sometimes!!

I agree...if they did that and cleaned it up...and that's all they did, then the punishment was way too harsh. Gotta be something else....
maybe they destroyed something in the bathroom or elsewhere in the school...

i wouldnt want to be the head coach or ad that had to explain that to the school board or the community if that was ll they did...like i said..im sure there is more to it
