i was reading his profile on rivals.com and it says that he has a solid verbal commitment to Sam Houston St. Any info from the remaining Decatur fans?

I understand that this true, but how firm is only something that Brian himself can answer.

Am I missing something here?
As talented as this kid is, he might commit to SHSU?
Why isn't Tech, TCU, SMU, UTEP (with their new offense), maybe even New Mexico interested in him?????
I thought he would go DI easy.

There are some Decatur players already on the roster, maybe that could be a reason.

Why would Christian go to SMU? Yes he is a talented receiver, but I imagine he would much rather go to a school where he could probably start next season for a winning program rather than sit and watch in a program that is 0 forever.

Sam Houston is D1. They are AA and not A. You may be surprised at who ends up there this year.

As an Alumni of Sam, They would be fortunate to get him.

SHSU is a very good program. Made it to the I-AA Semi-finals this year. We have several big name athletes every year that pick us over some smaller D1 schools. We also get several D1 transfrers with some from Texas A&M, OU,BYU,Vanderbilt,Oklahoma State just to name a few schools. SHSU is a very good school with a good football program
