A great movie indeed! Unfortunately it was released in 1959 the year of Ben Hur that swept the Oscars along with some other great movies. Had it been released a year earlier or a year later Audie Murphy might have at least got an Oscar nomination (and would have deserved it in 1958 - a weak Oscar year).
