Since the USA lost their second game to the Czech Republic after their great start they have dug themselves into a deep hole. They did get third place in their group and qualified for the gold metal chase but it is an uphill battle. Tomorrow (Saturday) they have to beat the other group's second place team (Sweden). If they can win that they have to play Russia again on Sunday and if (a big if) they win that they will be in gold metal game probably against Canada who appears to be the best team. The games are in USA in North Dakota and Minnesota so it will be a shame if they don't do well. They are capable but they better start playing good again. They should have had the game in Tampa Bay or Georgia so it would be far from the Canadians. These states are so close to Canada that the home advantage is lost. They never consult with the GodFather on these things. :mad: :(:D
