Navasota girls join ranks of beaten after 24 games

San Antonio FEAST academy finally ended Navasota Girls' unbeaten streak at 23 by a mere three points. Don't know much about them except that they are now 26-0 and won the McAllen Tournament. The Navasota Girls then lost the third place game to 5A Beaumont Westbrook 34-33. My heart goes out to them, they have put together an amazing run, and now must continue another win streak, the 20 in a row in District. For those of you who care anything about girls basketball, this is an amazing team to watch. If they come near you, forget about those thoughts of girls basketball being boring, because I thought that too, and I now love watching them.

I look forward to watching them play against the Lady Raiders on Jan. 7. Of course, I will be cheering for my Ladies, but am very excited to watch this Navasota team play.

Thank you for the updates and keep them coming! A good win streak indeed but of course the important games of district are coming and the main thing to do is get to the playoffs and then start another win streak where there is no tomorrow if you lose.
