The Yankees are going to be the "King and his Court" of Major League Baseball---they're going to have to ride around the country "looking" for matches, and not find many takers that can give them a game. Major League baseball is going to have to implement a salary cap or say goodbye to several weaker franchises.

I totally agree. This is getting crazy. Something has to be done to make it fair.

it may be jealousy (i love the 'Stros), but it is getting pretty ridiculous. i love to see the yankees lose.

Without a salary cap, the one with the most $$$$$ wins!!! The Yankees buys championships and the other teams have to pay the price. I hope that Houston can hold onto their best players!!!

BOSTON WILL TAKE THEM DOWN AGAIN!! haha.........how do they do this??? they should give everyone the same amount of money ...... the yanks have WAY TO MUCH OF IT!! and have way to much talent....it should be illegal......atleast this deal finally went through so we dont have to listen to it on ESPN every day...

I hate to tell you this but it is not the past championships that make all the money I am sure it is the $50 nose bleed seats that the Yankees are charging. Can't imagine what the nice seats cost.
