i went above and beyond to get this one. but here it goes...

1. kevin bacon played in "mystic river" with eli wallach.
2. eli wallach played in "dream factory" (1975) with sean connery.
3. sean connery played in "the rock" with ed harris.
4. ed harris played in "apollo 13" with tom hanks
5. tom hanks played in "forrest gump" with peter dobson.
6. peter dobson played Elvis Presley in "forrest gump"

Transplant... you have a pretty good idea there... but we need to get Elvis actually playing a part. (BTW, Kevin Bacon plays a role in Apollo 13, so you could have taken a shortcut...)
