The U.S. Soccer Chevrolet Association announced today that Abby Womback repeated as the female soccer player of the year in 2004!! (She won in 2003 also!) :D
The young female soccer player of the year was Hether O'Reilly. Aly Wagner won in 2000, 2002 Lindsay Tarpley, and 2003 Cat Reddick.
All of the above ladies played for the gold winning USA women's soccer team at the 2004 Olympics! Tarpley and O'Reilly both play at the University of North Carolina and have one and two years left there.
Great job by all of the ladies. Abby is fantastic. The new queen of soccer as Mia Hamm retires. She is rough and not afraid to be tough plus she is very pretty too as all of them are.
