Yall realize you are witnessing history in the making, don't you? This is the first EVER white Christmas in south Texas. Not the first time it's snowed, but the first time on Christmas.

hi everyone. the snow is amazing. i have photos of 1973 when it snowed in Sinton and this snow outside looks just like the pics. at the time i was the same age as my little boy. he's fast asleep now waiting for Santa, so i hope it stays cool enough for him to see it in the morning. if i wasnt in the Christmas spirit enough before tonight, this sure does put me over the top. Merry Chirstmas to all of you.

I was a Freshman that year (1973) when it snowed.... .. It was Jan 5th or something like that.. we were out of school for a week.. postponed Midterm exams and everything.. This is so neat.. This is clean, fluffy snow,, not all mixed up with muddy sleet.... Kids are outside making snowmen and throwing snowballs etc........ can't wait to upload my pics but I left my "downloading cord thingy" at the office....

Man, there's got to be five inches of the white stuff in my yard. This has got to be an all time record for south Texas.

It is about 9:00 A.M. and we still have snow even though I think with the sun out that it is only a matter of time before it turns to ice and melts. The boys are really enjoying this!
